ABOUT BIPOC FEST

BIPOC = Black, Indigenous & People of Color

A food festival at heart, we welcome a wide array of restaurants and chefs, as well as non-profits, small businesses and community organizations for and by the BIPOC communities of New England. This community event features cultural performances and local musicians & artists. We believe food and is one of the best ways to learn about new cultures and ways of living. Join us in August to see for yourself!

This festival is for everyone. All are welcome.

Admission is free. All of the food is free. Suggested donation is $10.

“Food brings people together in a way nothing else could.” [Yotam Ottolenghi]

OUR MISSION

As long as black and brown people are marginalized, ignored, regarded as second class citizens, or blocked from the same rights and privileges enjoyed by white folks, our democracy cannot succeed. By bringing our community together we hope to cultivate conversation and collective action around the threads of equity and social justice that hold us all together, while illuminating the persisting economic injustices that black and brown people continue to face in this country.

Through celebration and joy, BIPOC fest unites a wide array of community members to enjoy some of the foods, art & music that highlight the rich and diverse histories that make up New England.
